Author's, vendor's, or publisher's description This functional outcome tool is adapted from the motor component of the FIM" instrument to provide information about level of independence in the home and community specific to the manual wheelchair dependent individual. This tool is appropriate for those individuals who rely predominately on a wheelchair for all home and community mobility. Similar to the FIM instrument, it is a basic indicator of severity of disability.
