Author's, vendor's, or publisher's description When a person is being matched with a technology or a service animal, the person needs to be involved in the process and a thorough assessment measuring all relevant occupational performance components should be used. The SAAIA was developed to accomplish this and is useful for: medical rehabilitation centers, vocational rehabilitation agencies, universities, secondary schools, assistive technology centers, and anywhere else there is a desire to better match person and service animal.
